Coordinator, Retail Operations

Job Description

The Retail Operations Coordinator identifies, supports and improves areas of operational opportunity, as well as implement new operational processes to enhance the employee and customer experience. They will monitor Retail Operations escalations and work closely with cross functional partners in resolving any issues/questions from the stores. They support the Director of Retail & Education & Retail Operations Manager in developing, testing and implementing new processes, policies, store communications and project launches in the field. Their other responsibilities include supporting the New Store Openings and Development by travelling to stores to execute pre-opening activities, as well as supporting store events, as needed.


Principle Accountabilities: 

  • Support Retail team to create and implement new policies, processes and communications
  • Manage field projects, including requirements building, testing, pilots, launches and post project follow-up 
  • Travel to support the execution of New Store Openings and Grand Opening Events (
  • Manage cycle counts and physical inventories for all stores 
  • Travel to support logistics, security and crowd control for Retail Store Events 
  • Support cross-functional meetings and field meetings for project planning 
  • Track and approve orders for store supplies 
  • Support the development and maintain the field operational onboarding platform 
  • Identify opportunity for efficiencies by collecting feedback from the Field Leadership team 
  • Manage booking tool for client services

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • Proven experience with a retail environment with experience of supporting retail operations
  • Demonstrable experience in administration within an office environment  
  • Flexibility on work schedule depending on business needs
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform autonomously, with limited oversight
  • Ability to manage changing circumstances and priorities with tight timelines
  • Demonstrated process development implementation experience
  • Excellent time management, planning, delegation, follow-up and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Great work ethic and must be organized, and adept at prioritizing and juggling multiple tasks at once to deadlines
  • Effective problem solver, leader and sound decision maker; proactive approach to all tasks and shows initiative to drive results
  • Must have a positive attitude, flexible and the ability to work and communicate with all levels of management
  • Ability to achieve results by working with and through others
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships with internal and external partners effectively
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 50% of the time across UK, with occasional travel to Europe
