Your Mission Should You Choose to Accept: Use your drive and savvy for story pitching and storytelling to spread our brand vision and company purpose to quadruple the PR exposure of our brand. Use words to connect with our customers, engage the audience, build our brand, and drive value.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Aggressive and consistent story pitching to content producers and writers in the mobile accessory, fashion, consumer electronics, digital marketing and ecommerce industries
  • Create compelling, newsworthy and optimized content to generate inbound traffic and customer, media engagement
  • Assist with marketing communications and creative ad copy across multiple channels including email, paid search ads, display, facebook and more along with the ability to communicate to multiple cohorts and demographic profiles
  • Methodically grow direct and organic traffic and revenue through brand-building content development, social and growth hacking
  • Develop content for internal blogs along with developing and maintaining a content calendar

Keywords/Buzzwords/Experience that should apply to you:

  • Expertise in PR outreach, media relations, & content marketing w/demonstrated wins
  • Love for selling the pitch and getting past relevant gatekeepers with consistent follow-up
  • Strong media Rolodex
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the content and communications experience.
  • Bachelors degree in Communications, Journalism, English PR or similar
  • Organic SEO knowledge required including tracking optimization tools (Moz, Majestic, etc)
  • Google analytics, Google/Bing webmaster tools required
  • Experience with social platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest
  • Proficient at PR pitches, blogging and influencer outreach
  • HTML/CSS skills a plus
  • Need to have a passion for tech and fashion
  • Must be able to type at least 60+ WPM - Test will be required
