Position Purpose: 

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing and, managing Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams brand’s social l Media strategy.  in order to incase brand awareness, grow our community and improve our marketing and omnichannel customer experience. sales efforts. As key member of the marketing team, you will be working closely with Creative team and our digital agencies to incase brand awareness, grow our community and improve our marketing and omnichannel customer experience. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements and manages social media strategy to align with marketing strategies and objectives.
  • Track, analyze and report paid and organic KPI’s through daily reporting on social campaigns
  • Design, create and manage content and social media campaigns and generate buzz through viral marketing initiatives.

  • Manage the integrated marketing calendar for social channels
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional marketing, creative and business teams to leverage organic/paid media activities and help drive brand awareness and customer growth.
  • Partner with creative team to develop write long- and short-form social media messages that attract new community members and engage current community members
  • Work cross functionally with Ecommerce SEO, Creative and PR teams to find opportunities for content collaboration.
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network 

Required Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
  • Proficiency in setting up and managing paid social media ad campaigns.
  • Savvy content marketer with experience work with creative teams to write copy for organic and paid social media campaigns including Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter.
  • Proven track record of increased customer engagement and conversion.
  • Strong digital analytics (Facebook Business manager, Google Analytics) and metric skills.
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
  • Knowledge of social media management tools (Sprout, Hootsuite, etc.) and best practices related to Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and web metrics
  • Create efficient processes and demonstrate effective project management to drive execution of social media marketing initiatives
  • Ability to demonstrate a collaborative approach to achieving business results and working across internal and external team
  • Independent self-starter; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; enthusiastic, positive and detail-oriented 

Required Experience: 

  • 1-3 years of social media marketing experience in retail or consumer brands
  • Bachelors' degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent degrees
