Maintenance Technician

Location: Taylorsville, NC
Position Type:  Maintenance

Overview: 

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks in a variety of areas throughout our manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is hands-on with a practical mind and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of individual production equipment
  • Maintenance and general upkeep of the grounds
  • General repairs including painting, plumbing, roofing, air conditioning and electrical devices
  • Perform work on all electrical, compressors and lighting systems ensuring they are operational and repair if needed
  • General carpentry, as needed
  • Set-up and relocate new and existing equipment, as needed

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in light industrial maintenance required
  • General knowledge in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and machinery trouble shooting
  • Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize and complete concurrent projects.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills with exceptional verbal communication
  • Familiarity with hazardous materials, clean-up, and safety compliance
