Lead Customer Care Representative

Location: Taylorsville, NC
Position Type: Customer Service, leadership, Account Manager


Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams is looking for a highly motivated, high energy person to take a Lead Customer Care Representative position for one of our national account teams. The Lead Customer Care Representative will need to be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with the national account and with departments within MG+BW.


  • Providing directions and strategies to the team to ensure objectives are met
  • Proactively communicate and effectively resolve account issues pertaining to quality and service
  • Oversee the timely processing and delivery of orders to the national account
  • Ensure reports internally and with the national account are on time and accurate
  • Return calls and acknowledge e-mail messages within the timeframe outlined in the Gold Standard. 


  • 2+ years of customer service experience required. Furniture industry experience is considered a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel is required
  • Have a strong work ethic and understanding of work-flow management
  • Flexible, adaptive to change and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment where quick reaction time and problem solving is critical to success
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills; excellent written and verbal expression
  • Customer-centric mindset; strongly motivated to always deliver the best possible customer experience
