Role Summary

This position is responsible to lead, plan, manage, execute, and deliver results for MetPro campaigns in all marketing channels. You are innovative, strategic, process-oriented, and passionate about delivering results. In this role, you not only lead and manage a team, but often are a key contributor to a campaign’s success--modify an email template, create a social media post, write copy, crop a photo, or pivot marketing data in a spreadsheet. You are not just a distant leader; you are a do-er.

With an analytical approach, you use marketing data to make strategic and well-reasoned decisions. You are never satisfied with the status quo; you are deeply curious and “double click” into all the data you can. You are excited and eager, keeping current with the ever-changing industry and leading others to do the same. As a tireless optimistic leader, you are able to have a team pivot quickly, experiment with new strategies, and measure performance based on results. 

You will have a decent sense of brand identity and style, but you consider yourself more “left brain.” Marketing numbers are your language; you incessantly calculate ratios and metrics in your head while you constantly inspect campaign performance. If you have experience marketing to consumers in the nutrition, fitness, or wellness industries, even better. Preferred candidates will have industry experience. This is a growth and performance-based role; prior experience in leading a small marketing team to deliver results is required.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Oversee all aspects of MetPro marketing including, but not limited to: email campaigns, social media (organic and paid), paid search, webinars, company website, and affiliates.

  • Be responsible for marketing budgets and the associated KPIs 

  • Manage a small, multi-disciplinary team of marketing specialists

  • Prepare accurate and timely reports on our marketing campaign’s overall performance.

  • Design and develop demand generation content strategies (e.g., long-form emails, tweets, videos, infographics, white papers, webinars, website landing pages, case studies).

  • Continually drive the organization towards best marketing practices based on industry trends.

  • Monitor and assess other businesses in the competitive market landscape; introduce innovative approaches to compete, differentiate, and achieve success.

  • Proactively identify threats, risks, and opportunities and develop solutions.


  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a hands-on, specialist role in digital marketing

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing projects and teams

  • Managerial experience in building a team and working with contracted resources

  • Proven experience in working with an annual ad budget > $1M

  • Deeply curious and familiar with using data to drive strategic decision-making

  • Deep and broad knowledge of best practices for demand generation marketing

  • Very conversant in key marketing analytics.

  • Highly creative, with excellent analytical abilities

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Current and growing in the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing

Work Environment

These roles require contributing to a positive and vibrant company culture that is 100% remote. As a manager and leader of a remote team, this requires excellent communication skills and the ability to drive results without direct, in-person supervision.
