Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Lab Technician to join our team at Mercodia. As a Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in conducting experiments, analyzing data, and maintaining the laboratory to ensure smooth operations. Your work will directly contribute to the development and production of innovative immunoassay kits and services, enabling our customers to advance their research and improve healthcare outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory experiments and tests according to established procedures and protocols.
- Analyze and maintain accurate records of experimental data, including proper documentation and reporting.
- Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions for experiments.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory, including proper disposal of hazardous materials.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
- Keep up-to-date with new techniques and technologies in the field to contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology)
- 2 years of experience working in a laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques.
- Experience with immunoassay techniques and equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and data analysis software.
- Experience with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) is a plus.
