Corporate Human Resources Coordinator

Job Description

SUMMARY

Under general supervision, provides administrative support to the Corporate Human Resources Business Partner. Coordinate & support other functional HR departments with the administration of benefits, compensation, payroll, recruiting and other operational needs. Assist in employee on-boarding & exit interviews, maintenance of files, managing employee status changes, etc. while ensuring accuracy and integrity.

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Psychology
  • 1- 2 years of experience in Human Resources field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Great interpersonal skills, team player and service-oriented
  • Ability to convey a positive and professional image
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Flexible attitude and a passion to learn
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple locations
  • Ability to interpret and explain department policies and procedures
  • Dedication to perform high quality work

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SHRM-CP credentials
  • Experience with Ceridian/Dayforce HRIS software
  • Experience with Cornerstone software

 

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and enter employee status changes timely
  • Conduct informative professional new hire orientations
  • Complete Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files
  • Conduct thorough exit interviews and review/analyze feedback
  • Review new hire paperwork to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in maintaining HRIS system
  • Complete expense reports for management on a monthly basis
  • Conduct research & create first-level proposals for varying projects as needed
  • Assist managers with the processing of the timesheets and other HRIS functions
  • Actively support and contribute to employee engagement initiatives for local office
  • Serve as second chair for day to day general HR matters and escalate employee issues
  • Assists with the the performance review management process
  • Coordinators meetings and interviews as requested
  • Makes photocopies, scan and email documents; and perform other clerical functions
  • Maintain documents and employee files
  • Prepares correspondence as requested
  • Processes mail
  • Act as a liaison to Office Managers & HR Facilitators in other offices locations

Other:

This is a full-time position; days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This position has no supervisory responsibilities and no travel is expected for this position.
