We are actively seeking a "Work from Home - Software Developer" with managerial experience to be part of our dynamic and innovative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, enhancing software solutions and ensuring smooth technological processes within the company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, code, and debug applications in various software languages.
• Perform software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, and software reliability analysis.
• Integrate new software solutions with existing systems.
• Develop and direct software system testing, validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
• Responsible for mentoring junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices and DevOps trade-offs and act as an escalation point for technical issues.

Desired Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or similar field.
• Seven or more years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience in healthcare software development is highly preferred.
• Experince as a manager, leading a team of developers and managing software projects from conception to completion.
• Strong familiarity with various software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)

The Software Developer is responsible for converting project specifications and statements of problems and procedures to detailed logical flow charts for coding into computer language. The Software Developer will also develop and write computer programs to store, locate and retrieve specific documents, data, and information. The primary projects will concentrate on the ongoing development of electronic medical records (EMRs).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Discuss and gather information for the requirement specifications
• Create requirement specifications
• Design projects and create technical documents according to the requirement specifications
• Implement projects according to the technical specifications
• Describe specifications and assign tasks to developers
• Manage and report the progress of the developers task assignments
• Performs work according to the code of ethics, regulations, policies, and guidelines
• Cooperates in external/internal investigations as requested
• Does not engage in activities other than official business during working hours
