Job Description:

The Jr. Recruiter is primarily responsible for assisting with the full cycle recruitment for MedSide Healthcare. He/she will assist in the development and implementation of internal and external recruitment strategies. Generate diverse candidate pools, maintain and promote positive relationships with external services and assist with all recruitment initiatives and advertising. He/she will be primarily responsible for the recruitment of Personal Care Assistant (PCA) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) positions. 

Junior Healthcare Recruiter Responsibilities:

Creating Job Requisition

  • When a new position is available, post job advertisement on internal and external job boards. 

Resume Screening

  • As candidates apply for positions, thoroughly screen each resume to determine appropriateness. Maintain contacts in applicant tracking system and status accordingly.

Interview

  • Conduct interviews both over the telephone and face to face, quizzing candidates on subjects including educational background and professional experience.

Offer Letters

  • Extend a verbal offer of employment as well as sign off on formal written offer letter.

Onboarding

  • Initiate the new hire onboarding process. This would include drug screening, background checks and scheduling orientation.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community service associations, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters and job boards; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.

  • Manage 5-10 open positions weekly

  • Host weekly open house 

  • Attends job/recruitment fairs

  • Develop and nurture a pipeline of exceptionally qualified candidates and maintain their level of interest to meet current and future demand.

  • Assist with coordination of continuing education courses for MedSide’s current clinical team and also invite clinicians from the metropolitan area

  • Maintain spreadsheets and track staffing trends

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree

  • Experience in medical field recruiting preferred

  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment with constantly changing priorities

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills

  • Extremely personable and professional 

The compensation for this position is $14.00/hr plus bonus.
