Job description

As a Senior WordPress Developer at Measured, you are responsible for developing and ensuring the quality of the global Corporate Marketing web presence, end-to-end. You will build consumer-facing products that are fault tolerant, efficient, and beautiful. You will work with Engineering, BI, and Marketing to build and maintain Measured's consumer-facing web presence.


  • Build and maintain the environment housing the corporate website (built with Wordpress), including updating PHP versions, HTTP/2 protocol standards, and SSL best-practices

  • Implement and maintain content management systems & CDN. Own installation, configuration, theme and plug-in integration.

  • Perform maintenance, add new content to collections, update plugins & the theme, and maintain templates.

  • Support on-page SEO optimization and conversion tracking

  • Perform periodic website audits and track web application usage (Google Analytics, Pendo, HotJar, RayGun, etc)

  • Work with all teams (Engineering, Product, Solutions, Customer Success, etc) to roll-out feature enhancements, bug fixes, and new web sites.


  • 4+ years PHP experience

  • 3+ years experience with Wordpress

  • 2+ Years of Javascript

  • Experience with HTML5 & CSS

  • Knowledgeable with the Wordpress plugin ecosystem and familiar with using them

  • Minimum BA/BS or equivalent in CS, MIS, Engineering or closely related field.

  • Experienced with writing unit and integration tests

  • Familiar with MySQL, Postgresql, or a similar relational database

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Bonus

    • Experienced with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (AWS Pipeline, Jenkins, Travic-ci, etc)

    • Experienced with AWS (or other Cloud Platforms).

    • Understands and can visualize end-to-end data flow within a software application.

    • Experience with Marketing Analytics, or analytics in general
