Summary

We are looking for a Director of Partnerships to develop new and build upon existing partnerships and alliances to drive revenue growth. This role provides a compelling opportunity for a business development leader with a proven track record of structuring and developing strategic partnerships with both the marketing agency and technology platform ecosystems.  You will define, build and manage Measured’s agency channel and technology partner strategy. There will be an emphasis on the Shopify Plus merchant marketplace, developing relationships with DTC focused channel partners and agencies having strong relationships with Shopify Plus merchants. The ideal candidate is a hunter with a consultative approach to sales and partner development.  Must know the agency and MarTech landscape, preferably with knowledge of cross channel measurement methodologies.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a go-to-market partner strategy
  • Build and develop strategic partnerships with agencies and go-to-market technology partners
  • Jointly develop business plans with strategic channel partners
  • Build, cultivate and manage the direct Shopify partner relationship in addition to other key platform partnerships  
  • Use business plans as a roadmap for partner growth and management of channel partners towards Measured’s objectives
  • Pre-transaction support, including deal structuring and negotiation
  • Working to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets tied to closing successful partnership agreements
  • Generate new revenue, leveraging new and existing strategic partner relationships


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in closing partnership deals, managing conflict, and negotiation
  • Experience driving C-level executive relationships with marketing agencies and technology companies
  • Strategic and analytical thinker who is able to navigate the agency and MarTech ecosystems advancing       Measured’s leadership position within to develop a compelling vision and strategy for partner success
  • Ability to work cross-functionally both internally and externally to influence key stakeholders to push initiatives forward quickly
  • Proven experience in working with strategic partners (e.g. agencies, e-commerce platforms, channel partners, etc.)
  • Strong product instincts and ability to identify opportunities for Measured with partners as well as the ability to work collaboratively with sales teams
  • Experience working with startups and emerging technologies
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity
  • Results-driven, detail-oriented, organized self-starter, creative and a critical thinker
