TITLE: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse
REPORTS TO: Regional Director

Mays Plus is now hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for our Altus, Oklahoma office. We offer a first shift, Monday through Friday schedule – no weekends, holidays, or on call required!
What you bring:
- Education: Completion of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program. (Applicants must possess a current LPN or LVN license through the State Board of Nursing.)
- Professionalism: LPN’s must comply with accepted professional standards and practice.
- Initiative: You are a self-starter with the ability to work with little supervision.
What you will be doing:
- Provide quality and safe home health services to clients and families/caregivers.
- Record patient medical histories.
- Implement plan of care initiated by the RN case manager/physician.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care.
- Use equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently.
- Measure the physical or physiological attributes of patients.
- Comply with accepted professional standards and practice.

- This position has been designated Class I (see policy 9-1). Employees performing Class I duties may be involved in potential exposure to blood borne pathogens. All Class I employees is offered Hepatitis B vaccination at no expense to the employee.
Physical Requirements:
- Visual/hearing ability sufficient to comprehend written/verbal communication.
- Ability to perform tasks involving physical activity, which may include heavy lifting and extensive bending and standing.
