Job Description

Senior Paraplanner

The individual in this role will support advisors by managing, gathering, and analyzing financial data, and assisting in the preparation of financial plans and related client deliverables. This position also involves conducting regular research and analysis for special projects, requiring both critical thinking and attention to detail. The role operates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and includes providing guidance, oversight, and mentorship to other paraplanners to ensure consistency and quality across the planning team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the financial planning team to gather and organize client information, assess financial goals, and support the delivery of customized planning solutions.
  • Proactively assist advisors in achieving client objectives through strategic planning, support and coordination.
  • Input and maintain accurate client data in approved financial planning software (e.g., RightCapital, eMoney) to generate detailed financial plan presentations.
  • Prepare client meeting materials, including agendas, reports, and updated financial data, ensuring readiness and accuracy ahead of scheduled meetings.
  • Ensure all financial plans, documents, and planning processes are compliant with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Uphold high standards of professional ethics, integrity, and regulatory compliance in all interactions and job functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Financial Planning, or a related field preferred; alternatively, a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience in a similar role is required.
  • Securities licenses (SIE, Series 7, and 66) strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to pursue and attain the CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) designation within 3 years of hire.
