At MassMutual Great Lakes, we believe exceptional advisors are the foundation of a thriving, purpose-driven firm. We’re seeking a Senior Consultant, Experienced Advisor Recruiting - a strategic recruiter who understands the unique dynamics of attracting and hiring top-producing financial advisors.

In this role, you’ll own the full-cycle recruiting process, from identifying and engaging proven advisors to designing and executing sourcing strategies that showcase our culture, platform, and growth opportunities. You’ll help build the infrastructure needed to elevate our advisor recruiting efforts while directly impacting the future growth of our firm.

What You’ll Do:

  • Source and recruit experienced financial advisor using various channels such as databases, social media, and lead programs.
  • Review candidate resumes and applications, ensuring qualifications align with job requirements.
  • Conduct structured interviews, utilizing reliable recruiting methods to identify the best candidates in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate candidates' knowledge, skills, experience, and potential to perform the role.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for candidates, building strong relationships throughout the selection process.
  • Work closely with department managers to attract and onboard new representatives.
  • Perform job and task analysis to document key job requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to create recruitment materials and post job openings on appropriate job boards, websites, and other platforms.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date job descriptions and specifications.
  • Provide detailed and analytical recruiting reports to the organization.
  • Promote MassMutual Great Lakes as a top employer and "best place to work."

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree required; preferred degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experienced financial advisor recruiting - New York Life, LPL, Northwestern Mutual experience preferred
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (JobScore preferred) and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing, engaging, and interviewing candidates.
  • Proven ability to build and manage effective relationships with stakeholders across departments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple offices.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making abilities.
