Manager, Project Operations. Custom Research

Job Description

Through the acquisition of Deductive, a leading provider of data science services for media companies, MarketCast is bringing together a unique combination of traditional qualitative and quantitative market research with advanced data science and analytics. As a member of this newly formed MarketCast Data Science Services team, you will be working alongside the most gifted minds in media analytics, helping them bring to market new audience attribution and segmentation products to support leading Hollywood studios, streaming services, lifestyle brands, and sports leagues. 

We’re looking for:  

  • Someone to manage all project set-up, yup, the whole thing!  

  • For example... (here are some specifics) 

  • Developing statements of work. 

  • Coordinating approval process between internal and client legal departments.  

  • Setting up projects in MarketCast’s internal systems. 

  • Communicate project details to finance, legal, and other operations teams (e.g., hours, fees, etc.) 

  • Ongoing support throughout project, for example: 

  • Creating and managing SharePoint folders and slack channels. 

  • Updating scope and schedules as projects change and evolve. 

  • Keeping all internal partner groups in the loop as necessary.  

  • Excellent communication skills internally and with clients and/or procurement teams to ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed prior to the start of a project. 

  • Someone who would be excited to manage freelance relationships and all the paperwork that goes with this. 

  • Folks who get excited about managing the team's time and hours (yes, we know you exist!) 

  • Team players – we are stronger together. 

  • Someone who loves a fast-paced environment and juggling more than 3 things at once. 

 

Required Skills: 

  • 4+ years of experience in operations or project management 

  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver 

  • Completely proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint 

  • A desire to live in LA or New York – that's where we’ll be back to, when we can.
