Internal Application: Presales Solutions Architect

As a Presales Solutions Architect, you will partner with sales, product, and engineering teams to design AI-first, data-driven solutions that solve complex client challenges and accelerate revenue growth. You will lead customer engagements, solution design, product positioning, and executive storytelling, demonstrating the impact of our services and SaaS offerings.
This role requires a unique blend of technical depth and business insight, ideal for professionals eager to shape enterprise adoption of Generative AI, data platforms, and cloud modernization—while influencing decision-making at scale.
Key Responsibilities
SaaS Solutions & Product Expertise
· Master MAQ Software’s services, SaaS offering, and capabilities.
· Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities for new or enhanced SaaS offerings.
· Conceptualize new custom visuals and propose feature enhancements for existing ones, based on industry trends and customer feedback.
· Create and publish professional services on AppSource/Marketplace aligned with emerging technologies.
· Address customer issues for published products to drive adoption and enhance satisfaction.
Partner Programs & Ecosystem Development
· Identify and enroll in partner programs and secure associated benefits.
· Collaborate with SMEs to develop plans, track objectives, and achieve new Microsoft specializations and industry designations.
· Leverage incentive programs effectively to strengthen client value propositions.
· Create Win Wires and Play Cards to highlight customer success stories and impact of SaaS products.
Thought Leadership & Marketing
· Publish case studies, blogs, and best practices guides to showcase expertise.
· Support enhancements of the company website by collaborating with UX and dev teams.
· Design and deliver webinars, campaigns, and demos that highlight AI-first solutions.
· Track KPIs, analyze outcomes, and refine campaigns for measurable impact.
Customer Engagement & Solution Design
· Lead client workshops to understand business needs and define solution roadmaps.
· Translate requirements into AI-powered, cloud-native solution designs.
· Collaborate with engineering teams to architect solutions that leverage cloud, AI, and analytics capabilities.
· Present solutions, roadmaps, and innovations during executive reviews (WBR, MBR, QBR).
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
· Align closely with sales teams to shape winning proposals.
· Contribute technical depth and innovation to RFP responses.
· Maintain solution accelerators, reusable templates, and documentation.
· Research and recommend emerging technologies to enhance offerings.
A Typical Day
· 2:00 p.m. – Start of Day: Review client inquiries, RFPs, and internal updates.
· 3:00 p.m. – Customer Discovery Session: Meet clients to capture requirements, pain points, and success criteria. Use AI transcription tools to generate notes and actionable insights.
· 4:30 p.m. – Solution Design & Collaboration: Work with engineering teams to design tailored solutions using cloud, AI/ML, copilots, and analytics platforms.
· 6:00 p.m. – Proposal Development: Draft proposals, solution decks, and cost estimates. Use AI assistants for validation, consistency, and rapid iteration.
· 7:30 p.m. – Partner Program & Marketing Work: Contribute to partner program deliverables, case studies, and webinars. Support publication of new offerings on AppSource, blogs, or campaigns.
· 9:00 p.m. – Customer Demos/Presentations: Deliver demos, present innovations, and showcase tailored solutions. Lead WBR/MBR/QBR updates to ensure roadmap alignment with client priorities.
· 10:30 p.m. – Knowledge Sharing & Continuous Learning: Update internal repositories with best practices, contribute reusable assets, and mentor junior team members.
· 11:30 p.m. – Wrap-Up: Finalize status reports, sync up with US stakeholders, and prepare for next day’s engagements.
Candidate Profile
· Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (CS/IT) or MBA with strong technical grounding
· Experience: 4–8 years in pre-sales, solution design, or consulting roles
· Technical Expertise: Proven knowledge of Microsoft technologies, enterprise data platforms, cloud, AI/ML, and SaaS solutions
· Client-Facing Skills: Exceptional communication, storytelling, and engagement capabilities
· Business Tools: Familiarity with inside sales processes, CRM platforms, and analytics tools
· Collaboration: Ability to align diverse stakeholders, balance priorities, and deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
· Prior experience in pre-sales consulting or solutions architecture
· Familiarity with Power BI, Fabric, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory, AppSource
· Experience with AI/ML, LLMs, copilots, and enterprise-scale cloud solutions
· Strong presentation and demo skills, with the ability to simplify complex solutions for non-technical stakeholders
· Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Power Platform, or Data/AI specialization)
· Track record of authoring case studies, whitepapers, or thought leadership content
