Job Description:

The HR Associate is responsible for supporting the daily administrative and people operations of MAQ Software. As a member of the administration department, this individual will be responsible for providing support to 100+ employees and supporting business operating activities.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Employee and HR operational support (~80%)
  • Execute new hire set-ups, including office configuration and basic computer set-up
  • Assist in marketing and recruiting initiatives for the company
  • Provide support to Recruitment Team
  • Analyze open positions to understand project and position staffing needs
  • Identify qualified candidates from internal databases, Handshake, and LinkedIn for multiple clients/positions with the given qualifications (education, experience, skills, industry, personality, etc.)
  • Coordinate with the Hiring Manager to schedule candidate interviews by MSFT Teams and in-person
  • Assist payroll department with 100% accuracy
  • Conduct due diligence with reference checks, background checks, skill assessments and degree verifications
  • Attend four to six local career fairs per year
  • Field employee HR related inquiries (including health insurance and 401(K) plan)
  • Plan company morale events and outings
  • Support IT department when needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of all employee information.
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
  • Vendor management (~10%)
  • Manage vendor accounts
  • Identify new vendors that add value to the company
  • Maintain cordial relationships with key suppliers
  • Process and pay all invoices
  • Executive Support (~10%)
  • Assist company executives with special projects and assignments as required
  • Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations
  • Send daily reports on operations to executives


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Experience using Microsoft’s Office suite and ability to learn other technology as needed
  • Energetic self-starter who loves to work in a dynamic environment
  • Optimistic/positive mindset
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
