Our team works at the intersection of data engineering, business intelligence, and AI to deliver custom solutions used by executives and technical leaders across industries like retail, healthcare, and financial services.

As a premier Microsoft supplier for more than two decades and one of Microsoft’s top global partners, we bring deep expertise across the entire data and AI ecosystem. Our sustained organic growth has earned us thirteen appearances on the Inc. 5000 list for fastest-growing private companies, reflecting our long-term commitment to customer success, technical excellence, and continued growth.

About the role

As a Communications Specialist, you will shape how we communicate complex data and AI solutions to enterprise audiences. Your work will directly influence how customers, partners, and industry leaders understand the value of our offerings.

You will translate technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives—helping executives make informed decisions and positioning MAQ as a thought leader in the data and AI space. You’ll also review and raise the bar for content that others write, to maintain our brand and voice and ensure things “sound like us”.

What you’ll own

  • Create high-quality original content including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, and website copy tailored to enterprise/data audiences
  • Translate complex technical topics (data platforms, AI solutions, analytics) into clear, engaging narratives that are easy to understand
  • Partner with engineers, consultants, and leadership to gather company insights and publish content
  • Maintain and evolve content guidelines to ensure a consistent brand voice
  • Review and edit content from stakeholders to ensure consistency in tone, voice, and quality

  • Explain complex or technical subjects succinctly
  • Proven ability to write in a clear, concise, and engaging style for various audiences.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Bachelor’s degree in a communications field such as Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field

Preferred qualifications:

Benefits:

  • 401(k) retirement plan (company match of 50%, up to 6% of your salary) and immediate vesting.
  • Paid time off (PTO) – up to 3 weeks per year
  • Salary range: $55,000-$75,000
