Job Description

Magnolia Wealth Strategies has an opportunity for Active Service members to participate in the Skillbridge Program when leaving active service.

Opportunity designed to train military veterans to enter the Financial Services industry in the capacity of a Financial Planner. We position candidates in the program on Financial Planning teams to service their niche market and provide financial planning services and build their own practice.

Obtain training, credentials and licensing required for a balanced advisor. You'll be taught the processes to build full scale financial plans for individuals, families and business owners as well as how to build your own financial planning practice.

Our firm sponsors all costs for Skillbridge candidates to become licensed.

Here’s the timeline for the Financial Planner Training Program:

1. You will need:

  • Life & Health License (2 weeks of training)
    • We'll send you our code to get Kaplan Live Training online

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • A desire to pursue the SIE, Series 7 Topper & Series 66 (we'll sponsor you!)
    • If you already have the Life & Health License or SIE it is a plus!
  • Creative problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
  • Curiosity, coachability, and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and financial management software.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing role.
  • A passion for building relationships and a commitment to client success.
