Job Description

Lytics is seeking a results oriented Senior Technical Services Consultant to join our Professional Services team with a focus on driving customer success. You will partner with our customers at the beginning of the customer’s transformation to their new Customer Data Platform, and lead the on-boarding experience. You’ll provide our customers with strategic advice on leveraging predictive data science and machine learning to elevate their digital marketing strategy—along with live training to enable campaign activation on the Lytics platform. You will also serve as the customer’s point of contact for Lytics technical expertise—providing technical integration strategy, and guidance on solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

You will teach our customers to implement Lytics as a central part of their marketing campaign workflow, connecting to their data sources and marketing or analytics platforms. On any given day, you will use different parts of a varied skill set, be it coaching your customers on the best way to implement multi-channel orchestrated user journeys, or writing query language to transform data, and troubleshooting data models.  As part of the Professional Services team, you’ll have an important customer facing role. You’ll value and support growth of relationships, act as a strategic advisor to our customers and partners, and strive to deliver them the most value by showing them how to be successful. 

 Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with clients to assess their current digital marketing ecosystem and design their path forward with the Lytics CDP.

  • Develop and maintain a deep technical understanding of Lytics’ product features and integrated platforms.

  • Provision and configure the Lytics platform in accordance with implementation statements of work, and/or change orders; serving as the Technical point of contact for assigned customers and partners.

  • Recommend, design, and build impactful and effective multi-channel marketing activations within the Lytics UI based on the customer’s specific business goals.

  • Lead live remote trainings to enable and empower customers to understand the Lytics CDP, and to build and activate their own marketing tactics 

  • Advise on the application, implementation, quality assurance and performance, data validation, and optimization of the Lytics platform.

  • Develop playbooks and roadmaps for common customer use cases and develop custom workflows to address unique customer and partner use cases.

  • Provision and configure direct API integrations within the Lytics platform with all partner providers.

  • Work daily with product and platform engineers to optimize data models and integration workflows

  • Deliver and improve post­-deployment technical documentation and training as requested by customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Assist customers with troubleshooting their development and integration efforts.

  • Coach customers on emerging best-practices and the new basics of marketing.

  • Remain current on the latest industry trends and research to share with clients, continually striving to remain a trusted partner.

  • Identifying opportunities for Lytics to deepen its relationship with clients and expand on customer contracts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or Business; will consider 5+ years of equivalent technical and/or a variety of digital marketing roles between consulting, client-side, and with digital marketing agency experience in lieu of degree.

  • A collaborative communication style, and success discussing complex concepts and issues across multifunctional teams.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience programming with web and digital technologies. SQL,  JS, and CSS a big plus

  • 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise-wide technical or digital marketing projects.

  • Experience with or ability to solve marketing tool integration and product questions/issues. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences.

  • Strong understanding of marketing technologies is a plus, in areas of reporting & analytics, predictive data science, and organizational transformation.

  • Technical project management experience is a plus, in preparing integration schedules and detailed task lists to meet clients’ specific needs.

  • Ability to travel between 25 to 40% (post Covid).  

Key Skills:

  • Experience working directly with customers; strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and basic troubleshooting tools (Postman, cURL, etc).

  • Experience with GitHub, SQL, Python, Golang, JavaScript, PHP, HTML and CSS.

  • Experience troubleshooting web applications using standard development tools.

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, multi-task, and perform under pressure.

  • High level of energy, efficiency, and flexibility.

  • Analytical approach to problem solving and critical thinking.

  • Expertise in Lytics’ core products and/or CDP, and/or experience working with Facebook Ads Manager, Email Platforms, Google Analytics or Google Ads platforms.
