What you'll be doing

Lytics is looking for a Client Solution Engineer to join us in our quest to change the way brands market to, and engage with, their audiences.  We need creative technologists to help our clients implement and maximize their use of our industry-defining Customer Data Platform (CDP).  Your days will be varied and fast-paced and you will thrive by learning quickly, thinking on your feet, and showing a willingness to take risks.

As a Lytics Client Solution Engineer, you'll design technical solutions to help customers execute innovative and effective marketing use cases. You'll work with clients to implement Lytics as a central part of their marketing workflow, connecting to their data sources and platforms. On any given day you will use different parts of a varied skillset, be it writing SQL-like code to transform data, troubleshooting data models and their issues, CSS formatting and scoping, building and testing APIs, working with JavaScript, or discussing issues and concepts with customers and internal teams.

What you've done and what you can do

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical and/or marketing setting
  • Demonstrated success communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Work in an environment with constantly shifting priorities and deadlines
  • Experience working with JavaScript, including debugging as it relates to form and web event data management.
  • Experience in a similar solutions/consultative role, working with internal and external stakeholders on software client engagements.
  • Familiarity with SQL.
  • Understanding of APIs and basic troubleshooting tools (Postman, cURL, etc.)
  • Proficiency in HTML & CSS with the ability to debug scope and manage others' code.
  • Proficient in Git.
  • Ability to travel (~15%)
  • What would be nice to have
  • Time in marketing or MarTech
  • Project management background
  • Experience in technical customer facing roles
  • Familiarity with a back-end language such as golang or python
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform
