Creative Director - Description
Loove Labs, an artist-run music and technology startup in Brooklyn, is on the lookout for a highly motivated, versatile, and collaborative Creative Director who is passionate about leveraging technology and challenging the status quo to build new standards and to question the nature of audiences interactions with music. The ideal candidate will champion a wide range of strategic brand and design projects in our physical and digital spaces. We’re looking for a collaborator to own ideas from inception to completion, manage internal and external teams effectively, and be invested to producing high-quality, thoughtful results.
This position plays a critical role in shaping the conceptual development and execution of Loove’s visual design, brand aesthetic, and art direction. It will include close collaboration with our Founders and Head of Marketing to generate brand guidelines, drive web development projects, and oversee the implementation of creative materials across multi-channeled launch campaigns; while maintaining consistency across all our customer touch points.
- Conceive, articulate and defend conceptual and strategic decisions across brand and content divisions
- Deliver compelling designs and partner effectively with Content, Product, and Operations departments
- Ensure cohesive delivery of materials across all verticals
- Asses risk and be accountable for developing and delivering polished creative work
- Participate in business development efforts, including giving presentations and leading creative initiatives with clients
- Revise designs based on data, analytics, and business goals; refining design processes as needed
6-8 years of agency experience as a Lead Creative or Creative Director
Excellent motivator who is able to inspire teams to contribute high level assets
Experience running integrated 360 brand and marketing campaigns in small and large organizations
Excellent project management skills, ability to manage timelines and budgets at a high level
Strong contract management skills with the ability to define, initiate, drive, and oversee engagement parameters effectively with third party contractors
Ability to determine and source talent on a project-by-project basis, streamlining the development and recruitment cycle
Strong graphic design skills, a background in media or fine art, an understanding of HTML/CSS, basics UX/UI/IxD a plus
