Responsibilities:

If you are skilled at turning data into interesting stories, we want to talk to you. We are looking for a Marketing Associate with a strategic mind, who will be responsible for helping grow and position our brand in the market. You are detail-oriented and have that magical combination of being super analytical and hyper creative.

  • Assist in producing content for different stages of the marketing and sales funnel such as research studies, case studies, blog posts, video, and social media that results in increased sales leads and customer engagement

  • Interpret and organize data, and create content based on existing and new research

  • Help develop story ideas and craft compelling narrative that positions ListenFirst as a thought leader in social media analytics and insight – includes monitoring the industry for trends and ideas that can be turned into thought leadership content

  • Support press and analyst relations, including sometimes pitching press with stories

  • Develop a thorough understanding of our product and competitive environment to ensure the most effective positioning

  • Help craft and execute an email marketing strategy, including overseeing client and prospect newsletters

  • Oversee website content and copy, including updates to all pages and calls to action

  • Help plan and execute events and provide support on conference sponsorships

  • Manage social media presence and ensure it is consistent with brand voice

  • Support on product communications, including one sheets, presentations, product emails, feature write-ups

Requirements:

  • Degree in communications, marketing, or relevant experience

  • 1-3 years of experience working in data analytics  

  • Strong writing skills, particularly the ability to turn data into insight

  • Keen interest and knowledge of social media, marketing analytics, emerging social platforms, digital marketing trends

  • Thorough attention to detail and exceptionally strong organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Self-Starter, possesses ability to act and operate efficiently and independently to accomplish objectives

  • Knowledge of SEO a plus

  • Confidence and willingness to try new things
