About This Role:

We’re looking for an Instructional Designer with a proven track record in enabling software adoption. This candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining course content for e-learning and instructor-led training sessions to support the development, productivity, and retention of our customers, as well as developing/maintaining instructional materials. The ideal candidate is a social media expert and self-starter, motivated to bring new ListenFirst users to value as quickly as possible. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work closely with subject matter experts and the Client Success department leaders to prepare content that meets the needs of ListenFirst customers and employees 

  • Plan, design and develop engaging and effective eLearning and Instructor-led courses (for example, training guides, how-to videos, in-app guided tours) 

  • Maintain and refresh eLearning Instructor-led courses as the ListenFirst software evolves 

  • Report the status of projects and eLearning success rates to the Department Manager 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Adult Education, Instructional Design, English, Communications, or another related degree program 

  • 2-4 years of experience and demonstrated success as an eLearning developer in a corporate setting 

  • In-depth understanding of social media marketing channels including, but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc  

  • Passionate about interactive learning  

  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills 

  • Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic fast-paced environment

  • Rolls easily with an ever-changing environment 

  • AppCues, Docebo and/or Articulate experience a plus
