Overview:

An established therapy management organization is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join their acute care team in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This full-time opportunity is ideal for PTs with a strong interest in working with medically complex patients, particularly in neuro or orthopedic trauma. Critical care experience is a plus, but mentorship is available for new graduates or therapists looking to transition into acute settings.

You'll have the opportunity to work with interdisciplinary teams in ICU and progressive care units, providing specialized care to patients with complex conditions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and implement treatment plans in acute settings
  • Provide education to patients and caregivers
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive devices
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to PTAs and aides
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with compliance standards
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and continuing education

What We're Looking For:

Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (CAPTE)

Licensed or eligible for PT licensure in Georgia

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and time management abilities
