Cloud Store is now used by 120+ ski areas, water parks, museums and ticketed attractions in the US and Europe.. Liftopia recently launched Pricing as a Service, an API-based revenue management service for ticketing businesses who use competing software. Liftopia combines world-class software with unmatched service and analytics to help our partners grow their online pre-sale revenue, learn more about their purchasers and make the ticket buying process easier for customers and employees.

With headquarters in San Francisco, Liftopia currently has 45 full-time employees in the US, Switzerland, France and Germany. 


About The Role:  

We are looking for a remote-based, dynamic, entrepreneurial sales professional to sell our SaaS platform and services directly to larger Attractions, Amusement Parks, Ski Resorts and ownership groups. This is an individual contributor role with strong cross-company and industry influence. You will also be responsible for driving partnerships with other technology providers to remove friction in the adoption and implementation of of our services. This will require prospecting, networking and cold calling. In addition to signing new business, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting new partners to ensure they go to market effectively and generate maximum revenue using our tools. This role requires someone who wishes to be a market expert, can represent the company at conferences, can generate buzz and loves to make deals. 


About You:

You are a dynamic and motivated dealmaker who can close new business across territories and verticals. You have experience working remote and don’t need daily supervision. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated a track record of creating and growing revenue with technical SaaS, data and service solutions. You are experienced at driving the entire sales cycle from cold calling to contract negotiations, exceeding revenue targets, and meeting deadlines. You are the person who enjoys being in a room full of new people and likes LinkedIn more than Instagram. The best candidates will be comfortable understanding and discussing data and can project manage an integration. You’re a road warrior who can work from anywhere. And lastly, you love the idea of working directly with companies that sell fun; whether it be skiing, sliding, swimming, zipping or a variety of other experiences. 


Responsibilities:

  • Close sales of our e-commerce and dynamic pricing solutions. 

  • Prospecting and networking will be your top focus using email and phone to reach out to new potential partners, attending industry trade shows and visiting potential partners to demonstrate and sell our solutions.

  • Understand complex customer business problems and needs, and apply Liftopia solutions to those needs.

  • Present to high level decision makers in person and via video conference.

  • Work cross-functionally and in partnership with the VP of Sales to own partner acquisition, contract negotiation, revenue planning, and growth strategy in North America.

  • Travel to ski areas and attractions to meet with partners or prospects. 

  • Navigate complex and sometimes political companies to find influencers, get meetings with decision makers and move deals forward.

  • Be the face of Liftopia at industry conferences and shows and represent the company whenever necessary.

  • Negotiate contracts.

  • Train partners on all Liftopia platform tools and provide ongoing platform support. 

  • Collaborate with partners and Liftopia’s revenue management team to develop, create, and implement dynamic pricing plans. Evaluate, enhance, and report on partner performance.

  • Manage post-sales implementation and integration activity for new partners through strong relationship-building, product knowledge, planning, and execution.

  • Account manage new partners until they are permanently assigned. This role will also maintain a small number of accounts after the sale and incubation period.

  • Track all sales activity and monthly forecasting of revenue in Salesforce.

  • Assist with Business Development efforts with potential industry partners as needed. 


Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in consultative sales or business development roles that required you to secure new partnerships, negotiate tough agreements, and maximize revenue opportunities with large B2B partners, within a SaaS, Service or Technology environment. A demonstrated closer. 

  • Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated ability applying data to business problems.

  • An outgoing confident individual who is comfortable presenting to senior executives and speaking to groups. 

  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a simplified way to any audience. 

  • Contract negotiation experience.

  • Ability to balance day-to-day responsibilities with longer term strategic planning/execution.

  • Organized and self-sufficient. Able to do your job even when resources are limited. 

  • Great troubleshooting skills and a desire to constantly make improvements to our process.

  • Strong accountability and work discipline. 

  • Entrepreneurial drive. You must be fearless about doing whatever it takes to get the job done, even if it means working long hours and weekends during certain times of the year.

  • A great teammate. Pitching in, even when it detracts from accomplishing your personal goals.

  • This is a remote role, and you must have a quiet space to work and reliable internet and phone service.

  • Ability to travel about 40% of the time, sometimes on short notice. 

  • College degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Revenue management experience.

  • Experience working in the ski, travel, hospitality, attractions or ticketing industries.  

  • Relationships within the attractions and/or ski industries.

  • Leadership and management experience. 

  • Experience in a start-up environment.
