The Role:

As an Associate on the Partner Analytics team, you'll join a small team using data to gain insight into our partners and products with the goal of increasing business opportunities and revenue. Your work will have a broad scope and a large impact on our organization. You’ll help us make data-driven recommendations, refine metrics, create standardized reporting, and support ad-hoc analysis. You’ll need a creative approach to communicating data, a focus on the details, and an eagerness to support the analytics that drive our business.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Sustain and improve reporting efforts to share data with the Partner Sales team and our resort partners

  • Compile and communicate key takeaways and offer data-driven recommendations

  • Design and create dashboards for internal and external use

  • Support the creation and analysis of lift ticket inventory for our resort partners

  • Help monitor and improve our dynamic pricing engine to maximize revenue

  • Analyze the industry sales funnel and identify sticking points for our strategy team

  • Constantly work to improve data visualization and communication techniques for yourself and the team

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop tools and processes to increase efficiency and impact

 

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience as an individual contributor in a data/analytics-focused role and/or a degree in a heavily analytical field (e.g. Economics, Finance, Math, or CS)

  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving mindset

  • Excellent data communication skills, particularly visual and verbal communication of analytical results

  • Passion for facilitating data-driven decision making across all parts of an organization

  • Expert fluency in Microsoft Excel

  • Competency with Python, SQL, and/or R for data science

  • Willingness to learn new skills – our team is constantly evolving how we use our current tool set and incorporating new methods into our existing workflows

  • Ability to juggle multiple requests and deliver against tight timelines when necessary

  • Excited by diverse projects that could span from analysis of our sales funnel to diving into customer behavior or rewriting the existing code for analytics team tools

 

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with GoodData/Tableau/Looker or other Business Intelligence tools

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Google Analytics reporting tools and dashboards

  • Previous work experience in e-commerce, travel, and/or hospitality, particularly with a focus on revenue management
