The Role:  Market Manager, Europe

As Liftopia expands its business in the European market, we are building a high-performance Partner Team in the region that helps us grow our footprint and enhances our partners' experience with world-class enterprise support and account management. We're looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial manager of accounts and special projects to drive our resort partnership efforts in the European region. The Market Manager will work with top ski resorts and industry organizations to help Liftopia establish new partnerships, implement those partnerships, and support ski resorts day-to-day. Additionally, the Market Manager will also be responsible for driving regional strategy in partnership with Liftopia’s leadership team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and account management initiatives with ski resorts in the territory with a focus on developing adoption of Liftopia’s Cloud Store solution for ticketing and revenue management, developing long lasting ecommerce partnerships, and obtaining high-quality, unique lift ticket inventory.

  • Develop deep relationships with ski resorts of various profiles across the continent with the goal of creating bonds that transcend day-to-day business. The ability to handle meetings during après ski helps.

  • Work cross-functionally and in partnership with the Director and VP of Sales to own the ski resort partnership acquisition, contract negotiation, revenue plan, and growth strategy, with a focus on optimizing the breadth and depth of partners and ticket inventory.

  • Travel to ski areas to meet with top partners or prospects. Be the face of Liftopia at industry conferences and shows and represent the company in the region whenever necessary.

  • Research prospective partners and prioritize outreach. Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on specific market needs.

  • Train ski resorts on all Liftopia platform tools and provide ongoing platform support. Provide technical support to partners regarding Google Analytics, API data integrations, email marketing campaign tracking, internal and external reporting, and more.

  • Collaborate with partner ski resorts and the Liftopia’s revenue management team to develop, create, and implement dynamic pricing plans. Evaluate, enhance, and report on partner performance.

  • Manage all post-sales activity for Liftopia’s ski resort partners through strong relationship-building, product knowledge, planning, and execution.



  • University Degree.

  • Fluency in German, Swiss-German, and/or French.

  • 3+ years of experience in consultative sales or business roles that required you to secure new partnerships, negotiate tough agreements, and maximize revenue opportunities with B2B partners, both large and small.

  • Experience working in the ski, travel, hospitality, or ticketing industries.  

  • Passion and enthusiasm for this role and what we're building.

  • Strong communication skills and sales instincts.

  • Contract negotiation experience.

  • Ability to balance day-to-day responsibilities with longer term strategic planning/execution.

  • Experience managing travel budgets.

  • Some experience working with data and analytics to improve strategy.

  • Great troubleshooting skills and a desire to constantly make improvements to our process.

  • Entrepreneurial drive. You’re fearless about doing whatever it takes to get the job done, even if it means working long hours and weekends during certain times of the year.

  • A great teammate. We are a highly-organized and efficient team. You should be extremely well-organized and comfortable collaborating with your team to solve diverse customer inquiries and issues.
