About The Role:
As we continue to expand our business in the European market, we are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial sales professional to drive the adoption of our Cloud Store revenue management and e-commerce platform by ski lift operators and ticketed attractions in German speaking regions. The Market Manager or Director will recruit top ski resorts, attractions and industry organizations to use Liftopia software and services, establish new partnerships, implement partnerships, and support partner success and growth after implementation. The Market Manager will also be responsible for driving regional strategy in partnership with the Liftopia leadership team. Depending on experience level there may be additional leadership and management opportunities associated with the role.

Drive sales of our e-commerce and dynamic pricing solutions for ski lift operators and attractions in German speaking regions of Europe, with a focus on growing our footprint, developing long-lasting e-commerce partnerships, and obtaining high-quality ticket inventory.
Prospecting will be your biggest initial focus, using email and phone to reach out to new potential partners and close new business.
Provide day-to-day account management and drive revenue-growth initiatives with all partners in the region.
Work cross-functionally and in partnership with the VP of Sales to own partner acquisition, contract negotiation, revenue planning, and growth strategy in the region.
Travel to ski areas and attractions to meet with partners or prospects.
Be the face of Liftopia in the region at industry conferences and shows and represent the company in the region whenever necessary.
Research prospective partners and prioritize outreach. Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on specific market needs.
Train partners on all Liftopia platform tools and provide ongoing platform support.
Collaborate with partners and Liftopia’s revenue management team to develop, create, and implement dynamic pricing plans. Evaluate, enhance, and report on partner performance.
Manage all post-sales activity for Liftopia’s partners through strong relationship-building, product knowledge, planning, and execution.
Potential management and leadership responsibilities based on experience and needs.
Fluency in German and English required. Conversational skills in French, Spanish or Italian would be a bonus but not required.
5+ years of experience in consultative sales or business roles that required you to secure new partnerships, negotiate tough agreements, and maximize revenue opportunities with B2B partners, both large and small.
Experience working in the ski, travel, hospitality attractions or ticketing industries.
Strong technical and analytical aptitude and experience.
Passion and enthusiasm.
Strong communication skills and sales instincts.
Contract negotiation experience.
Ability to balance day-to-day responsibilities with longer term strategic planning/execution.
Great troubleshooting skills and a desire to constantly make improvements to our process.
Entrepreneurial drive. You must be fearless about doing whatever it takes to get the job done, even if it means working long hours and weekends during certain times of the year.
A great teammate. We are a highly-organized and efficient team. You should be extremely well-organized and comfortable collaborating with your team to solve diverse customer inquiries and issues.
This is a remote role, and you must have a quiet space to work and reliable internet and phone service.
