The Role:

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced sales professional, based remotely in the Northeastern US, to drive sales of our SaaS e-commerce and pricing platform (“Cloud Store”), acquire ticket inventory for Liftopia.com, and grow strategic partnerships in the Northeast Region. The Account Director will also be responsible for driving regional strategy in partnership with the Liftopia's leadership team.


A few of the things you’ll do:

  • Drive sales and account management efforts for the largest and most strategic resorts and attractions in the Northeast territory. Your focus will be to increase the adoption of the Cloud Store platform, develop long lasting e-commerce partnerships and acquire high quality ticket inventory that brings value to our direct customers.

  • Develop deep relationships with partners and prospects of all different backgrounds and personalities with the goal of creating bonds that transcend day-to-day business. Our relationship as a trusted advisor and full service provider is what sets us apart from our competitors in the region.

  • Be the CEO of your territory. Work cross-functionally, in partnership with the Director of North American Sales, to own the partner acquisition process and revenue/management strategy within the region, with a focus on optimizing the breadth and depth of Cloud Store partners and inventory available to our consumers.

  • Negotiate software, pricing, and distribution agreements.

  • Be the face of Liftopia at industry conferences and shows, and represent the company in the region whenever necessary, along with regular in-person visits to resorts.

  • Travel throughout your territory and industry events to meet with key partners and prospects. Work hard to ensure that we have exposure to decision makers and top-level leadership.

  • Help us develop successful product and pricing strategies for our partners, rooted in data analytics.

  • Work on key projects that drive improvements or expansion of the Liftopia business.

  • Provide peer leadership. Be the right hand to the VP of Sales in providing training, mentoring and cross-functional partnerships.


Our Ideal Candidate for this role has:

  • 5+ years of experience in consultative sales or business development roles that required you to secure new partnerships, negotiate tough agreements and maximize revenue opportunities with small and large B2B partners.

  • SaaS or software sales experience.

  • Proven experience selling to VP or C-level decision makers.

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and sales instincts.

  • Proven ability to navigate difficult conversations and negotiations in a competitive landscape.

  • Contract negotiation experience.

  • An ability to balance day-to-day responsibilities with longer term strategic planning/execution and minimal oversight.

  • Experience working with data and analytics to inform strategy.

  • You’re fearless about doing whatever it takes to get the job done, even if it means working long hours and weekends during certain times of the year.


Bonus points for:

  • Experience working in travel, hospitality, ticketing or sports/recreation.

  • Revenue management experience.

  • Understanding of Northeast ski and summer attractions landscape.

  • Experience working remotely and independently.
