About the Job

We're looking for someone to manage our paid acquisition programs as we aggressively grow the Life360 audience in 2018.  Beginning with managing our paid spending on iTunes and Google Play for app downloads, the role will expand out to other sources of paid growth audiences - covering paid search, affiliate networks and various other lead-gen programs. As part of the Growth team, this role will help drive a significant area of investment for the company and one of the key drivers to expand our audience and business.  You will be exposed to industry leading growth strategies that have been a core of Life360 since the beginning.                                  

Responsibilities

  • Paid Acquisition USA
    • Manage large paid acquisition spend for AdWords App Install / Universal App Campaign Ads & Apple Search Ads
    • Monitor campaign performance & adjust bids accordingly to ensure the CPI remains within target based on our internal LTV calculations, and that the quality of the audience coming in remains high.
    • Discover and test new viable keywords
    • Work with the growth team to prepare regular monthly reporting on ad spend & performance / ROI
  • Paid Acquisition International
    • Further explore international paid acquisition through AdWords and Apple Search Ads for non-US countries where LTV is high and CPI low. If the tests are a success, structure and formalize the campaigns to expand spend.
  • New Opportunities for growth:
    • This role will work very closely with the Growth Product Manager (GPM) at Life360 who identifies new growth opportunities for paid acquisition, these efforts will be handed off to the Growth Manager for further expansion and development. Potential areas the GPM will be exploring:
      • Exploring channels such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Bing, Yahoo
      • Direct-to-Paid for our Driver Protect premium offering a Driver Protect premium only offering in the App Store
      • Auto-Insurance lead gen - testing auto insurance upsell promotions in the app to see conversion/efficacy and potential increases to LTV

Qualifications

  • BS in math, economics, statistics, or other quantitative field
  • Ideally 2-3 years of experience managing paid acquisition for mobile
  • Data driven mindset, with high attention to detail
  • Discipline & analytical rigor to carefully manage ad budget & ensure ROI
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced startup environment, embracing & solving new/challenging problems
  • Open minded, creative & opportunistic mindset, always exploring new channels and finding ways to improve, discarding strategies that are no longer viable
  • Comfortable analyzing user demographics
