Job Description

LegitScript, one of the Top 100 Workplaces in Oregon, is seeking an exceptional Talent and Culture Manager to join our team at our Portland, Oregon-based headquarters.

What we’re looking for:

An HR professional who has had direct experience in building a forward-thinking HR department and managing/mentoring others. This role will be responsible not only for the nuts and bolts of HR - aka “Talent and Culture” - and Administration (policies, procedures, organizational oversight, etc.), but will be charged with carrying out a Talent and Culture strategy that promotes LegitScript’s values and culture to foster high employee engagement.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Manage Talent, Culture, and Administrative functions for LegitScript

  • Be a leader in developing and championing the company culture and values

  • Identify trends and recommend proactive solutions for employee engagement, performance, recruitment, and retention

  • Be open to feedback and a dynamic environment

  • Assist in implementing appropriate and effective talent acquisition strategies for each department

  • Oversee all stages of the employee on-boarding, orientation, and exit process

  • Expertly lead and manage others in the Talent, Culture and Admin departments

  • Have a proven track record of contributing to a positive workplace culture and improving employee engagement

  • Act as a resource to managers to develop goal-oriented and results-driven leadership

  • Act as an advocate for, and resource to, employees to ensure that employee perspectives are heard and considered

  • Continually ensure LegitScript is in compliance with HR policies

  • Oversee the communication of HR policies and procedures to employees

  • Administer LegitScript’s AAP plan and report EEO-1 data

  • Oversee the general administrative functions of the company


  • Significant experience as an HR professional

  • Experienced in building or growing and HR department

  • Proven ability to successfully manage and mentor others

  • Up to date on HR best practices, policies, and trends

  • Experienced in supporting managers in gaining and utilizing best practices

  • Knowledgeable in recruiting and retaining talented employees in a variety of sectors including tech

  • Passion for leveraging HR best practices to support a high-performing, positive culture

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or equivalent

  • Current SHRM certification
