Job Description

What we are looking for:

An experienced Product Manager that has worked in a Scrum/Agile development process with a proven track record of managing product portfolios that meet the strategic needs of the business. We need someone capable of driving roadmap and strategic conversations and be able to translate this into the backlog of work for our development teams. You will report to the Director of Engineering but work with teams across the the company.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Understand and be able to communicate the vision driving engineering work

  • Have an ability to clearly articulate business needs in concise requirements for engineering consumption

  • Quickly grasp concepts and be able to relay those concepts to others in terms they understand

  • Discern must have vs. nice to have features and guide stakeholders through the process of prioritization

  • Work with engineers to prioritize backlog items based on engineering technical requirements and architecture needs

  • Seek consensus and facilitate compromise between engineers and stakeholders to meet the overall needs of the business

  • Make tradeoffs in functionality and negotiate with engineering to meet the spirit of the requirement to meet business timelines

  • Be the voice of the customer for engineering teams

  • Engage with internal and external customers to define requirements, validate assumptions, and demonstrate new functionality


  • 2+ years experience in a Product Manager role working in a Lean/Agile environment, responsible for the prioritized backlog for multiple agile development teams.

  • Experience building and maintaining a software roadmap in an Agile environment

  • Experience driving requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders ensuring that their vision is clearly documented.

  • Experience with Jira to manage product backlog and engineering throughput.

  • Excellent written and oral communication

  • Experience with Google Docs, Microsoft Office, and Confluence.

  • Experience writing clear acceptance criteria for engineers to implement software products. Scrum Product Owner Certification a plus.

  • Effective time management required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
