LegitScript is a fast-growing, Portland based company that performs cyber investigations and internet monitoring in the healthcare sector and other high-risk areas. We are beyond the startup phase, but we have retained the best parts of a startup mentality (read: We are creative and collaborative! We have fun! We wear jeans!). We even have a (really awesome) office dog and in-house barista.

We are looking for a Data Entry Intern (or part-time temporary position). In this role, you will primarily use spreadsheets (e.g. Excel) and the internet for researching information. You will be required to enter merchant data, use research findings to complete missing data fields, and ensure data accuracy of your completed work.

Required Skills:

·       Internet/computer-savvy

·       Working knowledge of Excel (or similar spreadsheet programs)

·       Organized and detail-oriented

·       Balances accuracy with speed

·       Inquisitive and resourceful

Education:

·       High school diploma or equivalent required

·       Great opportunity for a college student with an interest in a career in cybercrime investigations, risk, or compliance

Schedule:

This is a part-time internship, covering approximately 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in our modern Portland office, which is cubicle-free with plenty of natural light. Our workday is based around an 8:30am-5:00pm timeframe. This role is expected to last about two to three months, with the possibility to extend.

Compensation Package:

$15 per hour (up to 20 hours per week).

About Our Hiring Process:

If selected, candidates will receive a phone screening with an individual from the hiring team. This screening call is intended to give us a brief chance to get to know each other and answer questions you may have about the position. Following the phone screening, we will schedule the selected candidates for an onsite interview with members of the team.

To Apply:

You must possess all of the required skills to apply. We are only accepting applications from local candidates at this time. Please send a resume and cover letter including: 1) why you are interested in this position, 2) why you want to work for LegitScript, 3) three professional references.
