Microsoft Dynamics NAV Project Manager
 
The role of the Project Manager for LD Product’s Microsoft Dynamics NAV Implementation is to be the intermediary and driver between the company’s business, marketing, accounting, sales and IT groups and the consultants who will be providing the implementation.
 
We’re looking for someone in the Long Beach area who has specifically been a project manager or senior level business analyst on a Navision (MS Dynamics NAV) project in the past and who has deep knowledge in the following areas: order management warehousing, accounting systems and retail/e-commerce.
 
This position will have the responsibility for defining and gathering business requirements and supporting users throughout the areas involved with the NAV implementation. You will be responsible for systems implementation initiatives by developing business specifications and providing strategic guidance and thought leadership.  You will help process owners with organizing testing activities and managing the preparation of systems/operations documentation. You will contribute in system implementation tasks that include defining user requirements, developing functional specifications, developing detailed program design specifications and developing user documentation.
 
Work with business users and consultant teams to define, document, test and deliver business process requirements
Maintain effective communication with assigned functional business areas to clearly understand their objectives and to provide frequent progress reports
Manage deliverables and time-lines
Assists in resolving technical problem reports on the production environments
Partner with the company’s stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement beyond the stated scope of the project. This could include process improvement, system selection, and strategic development
 
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in order management warehousing
Knowledgeable in accounting systems and retail/e-commerce
5+ years of experience in a business analyst or project management role
Ability to work well with cross-functional teams
Strong experience in managing time-lines specific to project deliverables
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
