Financial Operations Analyst

Lake Shore Associates (LSA) is seeking a Financial Operation Analyst that will provide accurate, timely, and data-based information on organization’s financial budget, chargebacks and reconciliation of invoices and charges, and review and contract actuals and variances. This role will also research and analyze department financial information and act as internal consultant to the IT organization and department managers for financial related questions. .

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, an in-depth understanding of financial systems and processes, and demonstrated success in financial organization with cross-functional collaboration.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and updated catalog of SOWs, contracts, service offerings and market elections of which services are deployed for those markets.
  • Collect and summarize data to develop established financial reports on a timely basis. Provide areas improvement to further streamline data collection, reporting and accuracy of information.
  • Maintain accurate status of YTD budget expectations, actual expenditures, anticipated accruals. Identify and communicate variances against budget and actual providing detailed information for management review and root cause analysis.
  • Conduct review of chargebacks and vendor invoices and provide a reconciliation report identifying variances.
  • Design ad hoc reports and data sets by consolidating diverse sources of data as needed to support department managers inquires.
  • Makes recommendations to management to improve the financial performance of the organization.


Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of in Financial Analysis and Process analysis
  • 3+ years of experience working in or with a large IT organization
  • Detail orientated with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Advanced skills using Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
