Wireless full-duplex allows a radio to transmit and receive signals at the same time using a single frequency channel. The Sales Engineer will work with telco operators and infrastructure vendors around the globe to deploy the worlds’ first full-duplex products in LTE RAN networks. Responsibilities include being the primary technical point of contact for our customers and supporting them from initial planning stages through lab, field, and pilot deployment of Kumu Networks products. The ideal candidate will have a good mix of RF and networking knowledge, as well as have prior experience working with customers to successfully deploy wireless products.



  • Primary technical liason for customers
  • Coordinate customer network integration and field trials of novel wireless products, including aspects of RF and network engineering
  • Manage technical issues and solve field issues, working with the Kumu and customer engineering teams
  • Build and maintain close relationships with customers around the world



  • BS or higher in EE or similar degree program
  • Knowledge of LTE, WiFi or similar wireless technologies from L1 (RF/PHY) through L3 (networking)
  • 3+ years of experience working in a customer-facing technical role
  • Experience in deploying and debugging wireless or network systems into customer networks
  • Experience working at a startup
  • Holder of US or EU passport, able to support heavy domestic and international travel


  • Experience deploying and optimizing cellular base station solutions
  • Programming skills in a scripting language (i.e. Python)
  • CCNA certification or higher
  • Experience working with telcos & operators
