Primary Role and Responsibility:

The Chief of Staff will use strong leadership and problem-solving skills to assist with the daily operation of the Korrus organization and all its portfolio companies.

This highly visible and strategic Chief of staff will plan and direct all administrative, financial, and operational activities for the organization's CEO and President. Organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information to facilitate efficient decision making. You will provide oversight and guidance to projects of high importance.

The Chief of Staff will oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of leadership and departmental heads and will act as a business advisor to the CEO and President.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops, coordinates, and maintains comprehensive project plans, work schedules, and budgets and monitors projects to ensure adherence to timelines, cost constraints and quality standards.
  • Establishes task time frames with managers/executives, monitors progress, and resolves schedule issues to ensure that projects are completed within set parameters.
  • Creates project charts and obtains regular updates from project team members.
  • Collaborating with executive team members to determine and prioritize business strategies
  • Providing department leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork
  • Planning, coordinating, and keeping contents of a meeting focused
  • Determining key performance indicators and how to measure team performance
  • Providing tactical support to implement ideas
  • Working with leadership to deliver, monitor and communicate progress towards goals
  • Responding to inquiries on behalf of the CEO and President
  • Overseeing strategic business initiatives from ideation to implementation
  • Providing CEO, President, and other senior leaders with insight and analysis on the company’s operations
  • Assessing risk when business decisions are made
  • Providing support and oversight for special projects and initiatives
  • Planning, coordinating and leading meetings and workshops
  • Identifying and providing recommendations on improvements across the organization

Skills and Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or similar field
  • 7+ years in a business or executive management role
  • Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
  • Proven success in a project coordination role
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form with a strong focus on interdepartmental communication
  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Experience with budget management
  • Consulting experience with a focus on operations management
  • Proven success in a project coordination role
  • Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions
  • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
