We are looking for someone who loves to craft interactive UI that can convey complex Wi-Fi information in a simple and intuitive manner. We are currently using AngularJS, but you would help us transition to a new experience built on Ember.js. You would actively participate in design discussions and work closely with a back-end services team.

Responsibilities

  • 2+ years of experience developing single-page JavaScript applications (SPAs)
  • Proficiency for implementing responsive designs
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g. Sass, Less)
  • Appreciation of the open-source JS ecosystem
  • Familiarity with Node.js and npm for JS package management
  • Proficiency with git for source control
  • Self-driven, team oriented, and able to articulate your opinions and design decisions

Even Better:

  • Strong interest in web standards and new technologies
  • Uses rapid prototyping tools or wireframes to collaborate on design
  • Experience building mock API endpoints with factories and fixtures
  • Deep understanding of vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and CSS (uses libraries but doesn’t NEED to)
  • Experience developing custom data visualizations
  • Working knowledge on how to secure web applications
  • Experience with a CI build environment

Some ways to stand out:

  • Send us examples of projects you’ve built
  • Send us samples of your code
  • Tell us about an interesting project or recent technical achievements
