Role and Responsibilities
We’re looking for an energetic and inspiring Warehouse Supervisor to manage the fulfillment team and operations for a 2nd shift (3pm to 11:30pm). In this role, you will focus on building, developing, and managing the team and processes for kitting, picking and the packing of subscriptions, ecommerce & bulk orders. Your responsibilities include:
Directly manage, motivate, and develop 30-50 hourly team members to achieve daily departmental goals
Track daily performance data and analyze trends and opportunities. Make informed recommendations and respond to changing operational needs effectively e.g. staffing and process changes.
Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members to build an exceptional team of bright and kind employees who work with high quality and efficiency and are motivated by challenges.
Conduct performance reviews, motivate team members and create strategies to boost productivity.
Provide on-the-job training and coaching to support team member's ongoing development and growth.
Manage daily tasks that impact operational effectiveness and execution of departmental goals, such as accurate reporting of timesheets, hours worked, and attendance tracker
Ensure the proper functioning and safe operations of all warehouse tools and equipment
Maintain a safe working environment through compliance of safety programs
Roll out new processes and fulfillment changes to your team. Educate all team members and provide high-quality feedback on the process and their performance and impact.
Model and champion innovation by encouraging your team to find ways to do things more effectively, ask client-centric questions, share their learnings with others, and work through challenges and obstacles.

Required skills and qualifications:
2-3 years of work supervisory experience in warehouse or fulfillment operations
Strong verbal communication skills needed to provide clear direction to your team and share information with warehouse managers.
People-centric leadership style: you lead with humility, empathy, and encouragement
You have strong motivational, effective team building, and decision-making skills.
Hands-on, "get things done" mentality. You thrive in a fast paced environment, meet challenging deadlines and manage multiple simultaneous projects
You are comfortable working with a variety of systems and basic business tools like Google docs.
Experience working with enterprise scale Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Great organizational skills and an eye for detail
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Warehousing, Distribution, Logistics related fields
Experience with order fulfillment processes for physical products, direct to consumer, eCommerce is a plus
