We offer kids a delightful, engaging way to explore, create, and learn; and arm them with the creative confidence and tools to change the world. Our core offering is a subscription service that delivers hands-on projects to kids of all ages. We also have an online store and a content hub for families. We take great pride and ownership in the products and experiences we design and in the community of parents and kids we serve. Our office is located in Mountain View, within walking distance to the Caltrain station. Currently, we are working remotely. As guidelines permit, we will move to our plan of hybrid, remote/in-office work.
Role and Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to drive acquisition via TV and Radio. We’re seeking someone who is passionate about our brand, analytical, and innovative in their approach to acquire and engage customers. This role will be critical in accelerating our growth.
Own strategy, analysis, and optimizations for Linear TV, OTT TV, and Radio initiatives
Responsible for driving growth via TV and Radio campaigns in collaboration with our media agencies
Monitor campaigns and help optimize campaigns based on constraints, clearance, marketplace trends and data
Vet new media buying opportunities and pitches and assess their value
Analyze first and third party data, market trends, and the competitive landscape to make data-driven optimizations
Deliver against aggressive user acquisition targets
Effectively communicate channel performance and test learnings to the broader marketing team and relevant stakeholders
Manage agency relationships and provide direction based on performance goals

More about you: You're motivated, dynamic, strategic, creative, results-oriented, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial with excellent judgment and exceptional communication skills.
Experience purchasing all types of TV inventory (OTT, local/national, broadcast/cable, remnant/upfront, etc.)
Bachelor's degree with 6+ years related experience with acquisition marketing and 2+ years of DR TV marketing experience
Experience executing brand marketing campaigns
Radio marketing experience
Direct to consumer marketing experience
Appreciation of consumer/children's products or marketing to parents strong plus
