Role and Responsibilities:
KiwiCo is seeking a Motion Graphics Video Editor to take on responsibility for editing footage and building graphics/animations for our emerging content series. This position requires someone who is highly skilled in both Premiere and After Effects—from creating essential graphics for scalable production to custom animations for video series. This person should have experience editing top down project-based videos, hosted videos, short documentaries and marketing assets. Ideally, this person has experience creating graphics and animations for content related to science or kids. As a bonus, this person will also have experience with animating custom illustrations.
In this role, you will:
Create fun, compelling content videos. Work closely with the content creation team to develop videos that are interesting, shareable, and fun to watch.
Establish brand identity and consistency through video and graphic styling
Edit a variety of videos across KiwiCo's original series slate.
Build essential graphics toolkits and animations for marketing assets, social media videos, and content series.
Help establish a language for graphic design and video assets.
Assist in file organization and sharing across teams and stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of graphic design for video and editing experience. You have excellent storytelling and editing skills, with the experience and skills required to work in a fast-paced video production environment.
You love our young customers and understand how to communicate enriching educational concepts in a fun and relatable way.
Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, and logical story construction, with an eye for visual communication.
Excellent written and visual communication skills and the ability to collaborate across various departments.
This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven role, which requires collaborating with the entire product design team, so great organizational skills are a must.
Self-starter with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while still paying attention to details and executing flawlessly. Strong project management skills.

Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, with special emphasis in Premiere and After Effects
Experience editing short and long form DIY, tutorial and STEAM videos, specifically relating to kids content
Experience creating graphics and videos for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms
Experience designing and building essential graphics toolkits for a variety of content types
Experience working collaboratively with video editors, photographers, and producers in a start-up environment
High attention to detail and creative confidence
Passion for teaching and learning
