Job Summary 

We’re out to find someone who can spearhead new creative processes to make game-changing work. A Creative Project Manager at KiwiCo is someone we can count on to get it done. Someone who is well organized and flexible, with the ability to effortlessly communicate and connect with outside vendors, internal teams, and our executive board members. Your mission is to support the creative and brand teams in creating great work, on budget and on time. We’re seeking someone with a deep understanding of the advertising agency model and process, who can help ideate and implement systems to build out our growing, in-house creative agency.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all creative collaborators engaged on projects. Set up reviews with Creative Directors and communicate on their behalf. Proactively work to move the team toward project deliverables and ensure all stakeholders have reviewed and approved in a timely manner. 

  • Take the lead on developing timelines for a multitude of ongoing projects and help the team prioritize their own time

  • Schedule and/or monitor the calendar; creating meetings and check-ins for brand team members 

  • Liaison between the brand team, marketing team, editorial and product team to help move creative work through and out the building

  • Engage with partner agencies to facilitate cross-agency creative projects 

  • Observe opportunities to optimize and even invent new systems for developing and producing creative work

  • Recruit and coordinate with freelance talent as needed for each project


Required Qualifications

As a start-up celebrating creativity and development, we encourage the same in our team. We look for team players with an infectious positive energy, great initiative, and a get-it-done attitude. Candidates must thrive in ambiguity and love a rapid pace. You must have a strong desire to learn and improve. Excellent organizational, communications, and multi-tasking skills are musts. Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 4+ years of experience in a creative ad agency, with a strong understanding of both agency and creative processes

  • Ability to work independently, but know when to seek help 

  • Proactive ability to identify areas for process improvement and suggest opportunities for change 

  • Strong attention to detail 

  • Excellent communication, relationship building, and multi-tasking skills 

  • Ability to judge priorities across a multitude of projects and business initiatives and keep the team ten steps ahead

  • Ability to think on the fly, adapt to changing timelines, and re-organize internal and external collaborators, if needed.

  • An openness to trying and experiment within the role 

  • Bonus: Integrated production experience (video, digital, print)

Remote/In-office hybrid in either Los Angeles or Mountain View, CA
