We offer kids a delightful, engaging way to explore, create, and learn. We take great pride and ownership in the products we build and in the community of parents and kids we serve. Our office is located in Mountain View, CA, but this will be a remote internship.


KiwiCo is looking for a Content Intern interested in fulfilling our promise to delight kids and families with hands-on creativity and inspiration. In this role, you’ll be creating and updating at-home DIY activities and content, while aligning to the company’s overall brand.

  • Help maintain and update KiwiCo’s online library of DIY projects. Review and recommend changes and updates to offer a rich assortment of activities for kids and families to explore at home.

  • Ideate, brainstorm, and research hands-on DIY project concepts. Our activities span themes across art, crafts, science, engineering, imaginative play, and more. These activities are meant to inspire extended fun and learning.

  • Prototype and design activity ideas. You must be a maker at heart. You like to get your hands dirty, move quickly, and iterate often. Familiarity with crafting, making, and other hands-on techniques are a bonus.

  • Create these ideas, along with their step-by-step tutorials and publish to KiwiCo’s online library of DIYs. You’re comfortable behind the camera and are able to leverage your great aesthetic sense to create compelling photos or videos to showcase the project.

  • Strong creative eye with a love for making. You’re constantly learning and trying new creative techniques. You enjoy shooting with the camera and you’ve got a great eye for visuals.

  • Communication skills. Exceptional communication skills with customers and team members.

  • Hands-on, "get things done" mentality. Eager and able to solve challenges and tackle opportunities. Identifies potential issues and hurdles and develops ways to get around them. Adapt to quickly figure out a way to get things done.

  • Detail-oriented. We move quickly, but we bring care and thoughtfulness to everything we do. We care deeply about the details.

  • Resourceful. You see a project from idea stage through successful completion - and whatever it takes to make it a success, and your job will be fast-paced. Hurdles are inevitable, but you take it upon yourself to take ownership, assess options and get something done.

  • In high school, college, grad school.
