Associate Creative Director, Art
Brand | Mountain View, CA | Full Time
KiwiCo is an innovative eCommerce company that sparks a kid’s creativity and curiosity through hands-on projects. We believe by offering an awesome, engaging way to explore, create, and problem-solve, we can truly arm kids with the creative confidence and tools to change the world. Our core product is a subscription service that delivers fun and learning to kids from ages 0 - 104. We also have an online store and a content hub for families. We take great pride and ownership in the products and experiences we design and in the community of parents and kids we serve.
We’re out to find someone who can spearhead new creative campaigns to make KiwiCo the most talked about kid’s brand in the world. A seasoned creative pro, responsible for the concepts and design used across the KiwiCo marketing and brand touchpoints. At KiwiCo, an Associate Creative Director has the leadership skills to manage a project, but can also roll up their sleeves to build on-brand layouts, art cards, designs and concept scripts or big ideas.
Working in partnership with an ACD, writer, you will ideate and own advertising and brand initiatives and lead production teams (freelance, contract and in-house) to execute those ideas in the most compelling way possible. We’re looking for someone who can do the job, and then surprise us with things we never thought of. Someone who can think strategically and can transform big ideas into truly engaging creative. You should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively—owning a project with some oversight, but no hand-holding. In exchange, you’ll play a critical role in developing book-worthy, PR-able, game-changing work that can elevate a seriously mission-driven brand. Please note, special consideration will be given to existing ACD or Senior teams, made up of an art director and a writer, with a working team portfolio. But we are also open to filling these roles (art and copy) separately.

Experience developing PR-worthy campaigns for national brands
A great deal of video experience—writing, making calls on set, and guiding edits

An entrepreneurial spirit that means you take initiative and proactively come to the table with new ideas to push forward the work
