Role and Responsibilities:

KiwiCo is looking for an ambitious and self-motivated Account Coordinator to help drive medium to large account sales across the full range of the KiwiCo product portfolio.  The Account Coordinator will be responsible for providing Account Managers with critical sales and operational support.  Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing critical sales and operational support to Account Manager(s) 

  • Delivering accurate and timely pricing quotes to potential customers

  • Processing orders and ensuring on-time fulfillment

  • Troubleshooting customer issues, working with internal customer support, operations and finance teams to find solutions

  • Following up with customers post-transaction to assess and ensure on-going customer satisfaction

  • Staying current on product catalog including customer benefits, inventory levels, pricing and availability 

  • Collaborating with Finance to set up and service accounts including tax forms, vendor approvals, purchase orders and invoicing

  • Monitoring and reporting out on overall growth and health of existing customer base as well as progress to overall internal quarterly sales targets

  • Developing and learning Account Management skills and capabilities with the goal of eventually growing into an Account Manager role

The Account Coordinator will be compensated with a base salary and incentives tied to  converted inbound leads and/or retention and growth of existing large accounts.

Job Requirements

Successful Account Coordinator candidates will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 1-2 years experience in a sales, customer success, or sales development role

  • Experience with CRM or customer management tools (Salesforce, Oracle/NetSuite or similar)

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a high bias for action and drive to crush targets

  • Demonstrated ability to develop trusted business relationships quickly and grow them over time

  • Passionate about customer empathy - ability to listen to and understand customer needs and creatively address them with solutions that exceed customer expectations

  • Effective and engaging written and verbal communication skills with both external customers and internal partners

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills -- detail oriented and meticulous about documenting and following up on customer interactions

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal partners

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment -- start up experience a plus
