Front Office Medical Receptionist

About Us:

Medical office specializing in Occupational Medicine seeks full time Front Office Receptionist.

Location: Vallejo, Ca.

Hours: Monday - Friday 830am-5pm 

Duties & Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Open office before patient's arrive / prepare sign in documents.
  • Welcome patients and visitors in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.

  • Optimize provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments between four satellite offices.

  • Responsible for scheduling Evaluations, Follow-up Appointments, Qualified Medical Evaluations (QME's). 

  • Responsible for mailing out documents for appointments

  • Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.

  • Communicate with adjusters and attorneys. 

  • Willingly perform job-related responsibilities and tasks other than those stated in this specification.

  • Maintain constant communication with the clinical aspect of the office

  • Collect co-pays and medical records balances.

  • Maintain cleanliness in waiting area and work space. 

Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience as Medical Front Office Receptionist or Medical Admin Support.

  • Proficient with file operations in OSX

  • Strong skills with MAC software, Microsoft suite, Google sheets & Google docs.

  • Desire and ability to take initiative.

  • Excellent organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate in writing and orally in a professional manner.

  • Ability to juggle multiple assignments at once.

  • Ability to accept change in processes, responsibilities & duties as necessary in keeping with best interest of practice goals.

  • Ability and willingness to roll up sleeves to accomplish whatever needs to be done.
