Location: Lip Lab by BITE, Irvine Spectrum Center, CA

OVERVIEW:

The Store Manager will be responsible for managing the Lip Lab Boutique x BITE.  This role will be responsible for leading the team to create fun and feel good guest moments as part of our custom lipstick experience. Key responsibilities include hiring, coaching and motivating color experts to be equal parts color experts/guest hosts, and ensuring the boutique is always party ready. Additional responsibilities are driving sales goals, overseeing daily operations, managing store events and upholding and reinforcing policy and procedures. Strong leadership skills, a passion for artistry, hospitality and a desire for operational excellence is necessary to succeed in this role. 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

CLIENT/BUSINESS

  • Guest engagement: confirming reservations, follow-ups including timely response to guest feedback

  • Providing guests with best experience

  • Develop strategies to maximize store sales potential

  • Regularly share business opportunities and trends with leadership and store staff

  • Serve as Manager on Duty as needed

  • Perform services, as needed

  • Manage party strategy and host memorable parties for guests

  • Serve as a community liaison for brand and other businesses 


PEOPLE

  •  Creating a strong, positive store culture based on and Lip Lab Brand DNA and Kendo values

  • Training new hires and refreshing training for existing employees

  • Conduct regular check-ins with direct reports

  • Uphold all Lip Lab employee hours, scheduling, and ensuring proper breaks

  • Hire and manage team including coaching, recognition, development and performance management

  • Provide feedback to team, as needed, on guest service and service execution

  • Lead team as a role model and enable a teamwork mindset

 

STORE OPERATIONS


  • Ensure systems are functioning and troubleshoot as needed

  • Ensure teams are following all Standard Operating Practices and GMP Guidelines

  • Ensuring store environment is clean and hygienic

  • Open/close store

  • Write weekly schedules to meet business needs

  • Create action plans to control variable expenses, including payroll and supplies
