The Kendo house of brands currently includes: Bite, Kat Von D, Marc Jacobs Beauty, Ole Henriksen and Fenty Beauty.  



This position will support the marketing team by creating social-first visual content for Kendo social media accounts. They will be an active collaborator with the marketing team to ensure a strong visual storytelling native to social platforms. Please include a link to your portfolio of work and a public social network. 



  • Develop engaging, social-first content (graphics and basic animation)
  • Work with social team to lead visual storytelling experience for Kendo social channels
  • Create unique, on-brand content with animation software (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere) for social media networks
  • Work within tight deadlines to deliver in-the-moment visuals that will engage a social-first audience
  • Drives design projects on time and within budget with the highest quality of standards
  • Assists team with trend research


  • College degree; BA or BFA preferred
  • 2-4 years of design experience in digital design, focusing on mobile and desktop
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite on Mac Platform
  • Deep understanding of social networks and assets that perform on them 
  • Basic HTML skills and knowledge of CSS
  • 1+ years’ experience working with After Effects or other motion graphics software preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented; time management skills, ability to juggle priorities
  • Strong relationship-building skills; ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines
  • Understanding of current fashion and beauty trends
  • Understanding of digital trends and best practice
  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and meet very tight deadlines
  • The drive to excel and succeed; self-motivated
  • Passion for beauty and retail
